We arrived at the Llandoger Trow at around 11.00 pm. The first area that we had to investigate was what is known as the dead cellar as this would have to be locked up when the bar closed. At around 11.10 pm we started the investigation.

The group felt several things in the cellar. The most common thing was reports of cold feelings around the group. Several taps were heard from behind several members. Dan heard a sigh in his ear.

(sorry this is brief, but as it was pitch black and slightly cramped, I couldn't track the times of each incident.)

12.10 am. BREAK.

12.50 am. After waiting for management to lock up, the group split into groups.

James + Scott - Snug.

Dan + Verity - Main Bar.

Carolyn + Maria - Jacobean Room.

Carl + Lewis - Lounge.

01.03 am. Trigger object set in Snug. Glass on corner table. Dan hears a low moan/sigh.

01.11 am. Tapping on glass heard in Snug.

01.17 am. Shuffling footsteps heard in the Bar from the Snug.

01.23 am. Group vigil in Jacobean Room.

01.29 am. After no activity in the Jacobean Room, the group decide to move to the Main Bar.

With the rest of the group finishing up, Dan and Maria begin to move to the Bar, and witness a bottle top fly across the room in front of them.

01.34 am. Group Vigil in Main Bar.

01.47 am. Vigil Ended.

When asked if this was the prostitute that is rumoured to haunt the building, the glass lifted slightly.

In conclusion, it was a night that was more eventful than anticipated. The most intiguing part of the night was the, now infamous amoung the group, 'bottle top incident'. This, currently, is still unexplained. There are 2 theories to attempt to explain this. One of which is that, behind the bar there is what looks like a small room. As we were not allowed behind the bar for obvious reasons, we could not check behind there after the incident took place, but it is possible that someone could have been playing a prank on us. Also the pub is right next to a Travelodge, with a door leading from the bar directly into it, so someone could have sneaked in. Or the other theory is that as either Dan or Maria were walking, the bottle top could have trapped under one of their shoes and therefore flicked up at them. As for the emotions that were running high, this could be put down to tiredness. As the lights were not fully off, this led to most of the group becoming tired very quickly, as they weren't running on adrenalin as they would have if it was dark. The interference on the radios can be traced to the fact the it was the center of Bristol on a Friday night and signals from nightclub bouncers and police radios would have interfered with ours.

Verdict : Possibly Haunted, worthy of another investigation.
