21.35 pm. Arrive at location. Group given a tour of the fort.
22.00 pm. Group splits into 3 smaller groups to cover the whole of the fort.
Group 1
Dan, Bex, Charlie, Richard and Jess - Lower level tunnels.
Group 2
Maria, Sarah, Hywel, Alex and Simon - Middle level rooms.
Group 3
Scott, Darren, Tai and Vicky - Ramparts + High level rooms.
During these investigations Group 3 reports no activity.
Whlist in the Blacksmiths room, Group 2 experienced multiple phenomena.
Maria and Alex experience Nausea and Dizzyness.
Simon experienced a swaying feeling and Nausea.
Sarah experienced some back pain and Nausea.
Hywel experences the feeling of someone trying to hold his hand and a ringing in the ear.
Sarah also reports that her camera, which had fresh batteries and awas also working in all other rooms, failed in the Blacksmiths room.
It started working again after the group left the room.
Also while Group 2 were in the Gunners Room, Sarah and Maria hear a loud bang.
Group 1 report the odd footstep whilst in the tunnels but no other activity.
11.20 pm. BREAK.
11.40 pm. The group decide to hold a seance in the Blacksmiths Room. Dan and Bex go to the Ramparts.
11.50 pm. While asking out during the seance, Maria collapses to the floor. She is removed from the room.
11.55 pm. Sarah reports feeling as if someone was pushing on her chest, and having angry emotions, and then is reduced to tears. She is removed from the seance.
00.00 am. Seance continues.
00.28 am. Seance Ended. Jess reports that when she was stood in the spot where Sarah was before her outburst, she feels some back pain, similar to Sarahs before.
00.30 am. BREAK 00.50 am. The group head to the tunnels.
01.30 am. Dan, Scott, Richard and Vicky head to the Blacksmiths Room.
02.00 am. Darren, Sarah and Charlie hear running footsteps and a door slamming, but upon further investigation no-one is around.
02.20 am. BREAK.
02.30 am. Group split up covering the lower level tunnels.
No major activity is reported, apart from the odd knock.
03.00 am. INVESTIGATION ENDED.
In conclusion, a mixed night. The vast majority of the location didn't yeild much evidence. The most intruiging room has to be the Blacksmiths room. This is where the bulk of the activity happened.
During one of the seances, Richard and Sarah feel that the spirit causing the disturbances in the Blacksmiths room is a very private man possibly in along coat and maybe called Jack.
Overall the night could warrent another investigation in the future.
Verdict : Possibly Haunted. Requires further investigation.
