We arrived at The Black Swan at around 10.50pm and met with Pam the landlady. At 10.55 Dan and myself were shown around by Pam and I conducted the baseline tests. After registering the EMF reading in the bar, Pam said that a reading is regularly picked up in this area, however later in the night it had disappeared.
Upon meeting back with the rest of the group after completing the baseline tests, members of the group reported hearing a banging coming up from the kitchen area, and after checking it was discovered that no-one had been using the kitchen.

12.25 am. Group vigil in the cellar.

12.50 am. After no reported activity, the vigil is ended and an EVP is setup in the cellar.

01.00 am. Group vigil in the Conference Room.

01.03 am. Upon starting, the group hears what sounds like someone moving outside.
However upon checking there was nobody around.

01.06 am. Dan hears movement from behind a blocked off door at the other end of the Conference Room.

01.10 am. Due to activity seeming to occur, the group decide to try a seance.

01.18 am. Tapping is reported coming from the table.

01.30 am. Seance ended.
Apart from constant tapping, no other intelligence was gathered.

03.25 am. Standing seance with Scott and Josh observing.
During this seance, the temperatures that were being recorded were very eractic.
-12, 20, -5, 16 and down to -22°C.
At one point the temperature was 20°C and slowly dropped to 10°C.

03.45 am. Dan, Josh and Pam go to the Conference Room.

04.00 am. BREAK

04.30 am. Group vigil in the Cellar.

04.45 am. INVESTIGATION ENDED

In conclusion, a slightly quiet night at The Black Swan. The major area of interest has to be the cellar. This was the most active area of the night.
The most interesting piece of activity was the large bang that was heard by myself and Dan. Outside of the cellar is a metal manhole cover, however if this was what was what had made the noise it would have sounded more metallic. None of the group had shut any doors and if a guest had slammed one, we wouldn't have heard it that loudly downstairs.
So, for now this is still unexplained.
As for the bizzare tempature readings, I am still struggling to find an explanation to the cause of this. The battery was fresh in that night so it couldn't have been low.
As for the tapping in the Conference Room, I am not convinced that this was paranormal. This is due to the fact that it was a constant tapping and not in response to questioning. As this was not an intelligent response, I feel this is not paranormal.

Verdict : Possibly Haunted, worthy of another investigation.
