We arrived at the location at around 11pm and spoke to the owners who said they wished to remain anonymous, and also that no seances etc could be conducted in the property.
As this was to be a large group investigating, we split into 3 groups.
23.52 pm. Trigger object set. Glass on the pool table.
00.11 am. Groups Spilt
Group 1 - Cellar.
Group 2 - Bar.
Group 3 - First Floor.
00.28 am. Reports of footsteps above the cellar.
00.42 am. Banging heard in the cellar.
00.49 am. Reports of footsteps walking towards the cellar
00.50 am. Whistling heard by the toilets by the bar.
01.00 am. Groups move.
Group 1 - Bar.
Group 2 - First Floor.
Group 3 - Cellar.
01.10 am. Banging noise in cellar.
01.45 am. BREAK.
02.13 am. Dan, Scott, Lewis and Donna - Cellar.
Rest of group split between Bar and First Floor.
04.18 am. No activity reported up until a member of another group who joined us in the cellar, feels a pinch on her arm.
05.00 am. Investigation Ended.
In conclusion, a very disapointing night overall, considering there were reports of activity on the Monday before our investigation. The most common reports were of banging heard in the cellar. This can be traced to the road above, which is cobbled, and also has a manhole cover that is slightly loose, so if a car went over it, vibrations would be heard below.
Verdict : Not Haunted.
